Melanie Dobbins has acted as promoter and facilitator for successful and prominent programs, companies and fund raising events for more than 20 years. She is a graduate of Kennesaw State University where she received a B.A. in Music with a concentration in voice. While at Kennesaw State she was a member of the Music Educators National Conference, the International Association of Jazz Educators and created TriTone. She has continually handled the marketing, promotions and booking of numerous companies, artist and events. She also performs regularly as a vocalist with her own band and several other local artists.
Having worked seven years for the College of the Arts at Kennesaw State University as the college's program coordinator, she successfully presented three concert series annually and all of the college's promotional and fund raising events. She served on the grant review panel for the Georgia Council for the Arts for three years and was an active member of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters for more than 5 years. She now serves as marketing director to InsiderAdvantage and JAMES Magazine, a premier news source for Georgia business and politics. Through TriTone, she also works with a wide variety of companies to assist in promotions and provide planning, marketing and public relations services.
Ms. Dobbins continues to broaden her reach in the promotions and arts industries to help enable and advance cultural atmospheres and promote positive, healthy products, companies and organizations to the community.
